In a trending video clip from Anthony Joshua’s interview with Nigerian International Sports Journalist, Oma Akatugba, the British boxer of Nigerian Ancestry (pictured with his mother) revealed that he speaks Yoruba a little and dishes like Pounded yam, Eba and Egusi soup are the secrets to his success.

Anthony Joshua who defended his title few days ago has revealed the secret of his strength.

While responding to questions from a Nigerian journalist, Mr Joshua credited Nigerian dishes (pounded yam, Eba and Egusi) for his success.

The newly crowned World IBF heavyweight champ was born to a Nigerian mother, Yeta Odusanya, a social worker in North London.

The 27-year-old boxer bought his mother a brand new ride last year.

Anthony Joshua said if given the opportunity, he will help people from his parents country.

His full name is Anthony Olaseni Joshua. He was born to a Nigerian mother and a British father of Nigerian and Irish descent.
